A new study published in the journal Medical Science and Sports Exercise has looked at over 75,000 runners and whether or not they developed arthritis with long term jogging. It has long been thought that runners develop arthritis at a higher Orthopedic Doctor Phoenixrate than the rest of the population.

But it appears not to be the case.

Dr. Farber at Phoenix Shoulder and knee is the premier Sports Medicine Doctor in Phoenix and offers minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. In addition, platelet rich plasma therapy is offered to help patients avoid surgery.
